lim enjing : hi hope you can help mi with this...my recovery partition is unable to boot up,mayb its due to things i put inside the previous time.how do i amend the recovery partition since its unable to boot up and its like kind of lock

We need to activate the “D” partition, which will help to reinstall the Operating system.

1. Right click My Computer Icon
2. Choose Manage option.
3. In the Computer management window, choose “Disk Management”.
4. Click to Highlight the Recovery partition ( D drive) and then right click it to find "Mark partition as Active". Select it and reboot.

Sergio : Now, restart the notebook and keep on tapping the F11 key to Boot into Recovery partition to RESTORE the Notebook to Factory settings.

lim enjing : only mark a partition as active if it contains a functioning operating system.. should i click yes ?

lim enjing : but how can i go into this drive to take out my stuff because i didnt know that i shouldnt put anything inside

Sergio : You need to purchase the USB hard drive connector for it. Please make note of the following information.Sergio : You can backup data using USB adapter. You can backup data onto other system. You can use 2.5" hard drive case
that will connect to any USB port. You can use this hard drive case and backup the data on any other laptop or
desktop either at home, office or any other friends place without opening the system.
Sergio : You just need to remove the hard drive from the laptop and put the laptop hard drive in the USB hard drive case and
then connect it to USB port.
